Valldemossa is a village and a municipality on the Balearic Island Mallorca. It is located on the island west side, not far away from Sóller. The most famous landmark is the Royal Charterhouse, the Carthusian Monastery of Valldemossa, where the composer Chopin lived. Some of the old facades in downtown are lovingly decorated.
