Hello, I am new to the world of photography and video.I have a budget of around $ 600 to buy a camera, but I do not know what standards should be careful! I'm more interested in video recording. I would like to know from your experience! Thanks!

If you want to do both I can recommend you the Canon EOS 550D or 600D with a 50mm lens. Thats the basic kit to get starting. Of course you will need also a sturdy tripod to avoid shaky footage.

what cinecameratv recommended, that will be a good starter cam.
There is free software out there to start with, that's how probably 90% of us started.

As dopoopta said, you can always download a free trial of Sony Vegas or something just to get you started. Get some inexpensive lighting at IKEA. You'd be amazed what you can do on a budget.

I've found that learning with the hard to work with equipment makes you better and much more educated once you get to the better stuff. Really gives you an understanding. If you have the money go all out! But if not, work on that shoe string budget and shoot what you can with it, learn you limits, and upgrade as you go.

My first military camera had the auto functions broken, so I had to learn manual. Of course, back then we had to walk to work in the snow, uphill both ways and barefoot...

my first camera had manual shutter. I had to move it lightning fast to get proper exposure. I miss that.

My first camera didn't have a shutter. I put film under my eyelids and blinked.
