How is your footage sale for the month of july?

Hello! For 190 footage online I only sold 1 time. I am pretty new here and doing some research from my fellow photographer and videographer selling footage. And I seen one person have 150 000 plus of footage some are having 3000 plus footage and more I wonder how many sale are you having in a month or how much do you make in a month, so I will know how much effort I will give… would you like to share how many footage did you sold or how much did you make for the month of July?

Zero sales like a lot of people, millions of videoes on line, you are about 10 years too late to the party, there are stock sites on pond 5 with hundreds of thousands of videoes, and people that give their work away for literally nothing

You asked how many sales in July the answer is zero, in other months I make sales but they are low due to a saturated market, note I have been on pond5 for 13 years so only occasionally upload, I mainly sell images myself through my own website and have been full time with this since 2017, if we go back in time in 1980 the stock industry was different before digital cameras people posted transparency’s, and would receive easily 300-1000 dollars for an image, 10 years or so ago the micro stick industry started where people could buy images for next to nothing and the artists would receive as low as $0.08 for a sale, the race to the bottom has reached the bottom, the next step will be subscriptions for artists IE you will have to pay stock sites to host your images and video, picfair a stock site has started this, and society6 a print on demand site will start this in the autumn

its defend you put a price, my clips a put a high 200, 100, 60 a lower is $35 even it Sold the site giving me up to 60% ..so pls. dont put a lower price, after Sold then saying only $11 the genaration all things is always Higher changing Rate Price

Footage sales have dropped off significantly in the last few months. And sales that are made are of a much lower price: down from 80 to , say, 13. I believe this has to do with some change in the algorithm and/or the deals that Pond5 has done recently with large stock houses and agencies. They should better communicate with this community.
