They go into the completely wrong direction. Nobody needs another editing app. There are already tons of them (free ones too) on the market. They should do something about the codec and image quality. They bought cineform but didn't used their technology in the GoPro.

XiaoMi has a new smart phone Mi5, with video stabilizer, and what is GoPro and iPhone doing?
It is too late for GoPro to chase back their investors. All they can do is a new product which is better than DJI ! Better have optical stabilizer as well.

Any new processor software is not needed. Ya have to remember that the GoPro CEO is a surfer dude first and foremost. He has been a one show pony. Upgrades the cameras then does intermediate fixes to patch problems. Then decides everyone wants a system to shoot with a dozen cameras at once. The market is just not there in big enough numbers to sell multi-camera systems and like stated above there are lots of great processing software already. His stock prices should have told him long ago he's heading in the wrong direction.

The Mi5 isn't that great either as far stabilization goes. GoPro will have tough time catching up to DJI.

GoPro is sleeping while competitor is pushing forward...
DJI is also not that great either, even though GoPro have difficult time to catch up.
The share price of GoPro showed that but they can't see it.

GoPro codec (ProTune) better than DJI codec (no flickering) only lens warp is issue, solvable by third party. DJI lens sucks too, by the way, just different and certainly not as bad.
Bottom line if you want pro results, don't play with toys.
