If we're in the topic of bees I'll write you a few interesting facts about bees. It may be useful to you when filming bees.
When filming the bees on flowers it is not a problem (because they are busy and they are far from hive), but do not try to go with the camera to the hive (in the hive area are flying guardian bees.) if your body have too intense smell. Bees really do not like when your body have a smell of sweat, or generally smells bad :) Bees dont like artificial scents as well such as perfumes or pungent smell of soap. They don't like dark colors as well such as black or brown or dark blue... (maybe they think a bear is coming to take honey :). They will attack you - they are always attacking my black canon DSLR camera because it is dark not me (when I am in a white clothes). The best way is to go filming bees in a bee hive area in a white or bright yellow clothes. And dont forget protect your hair. They love to go to hair area to sting. So... bright clothes, if possible shower straight before going to the hive area and protection to your hair. :)

I caught a swarm of bees last summer

Zelwanka, you are damn right about bees attacking the DSLR. One day I placed the camera on a tripod and took pictures of wild bees nest. When I got too close, they attacked my camera and after I was stung 3 times, I had to run away. I came back after sunset. The camera was completely wet from venom. It took me hours to clean the camera and I never attempted to shoot bees after that. That's how I lost my career as a nature photographer.

It could be the low pitched "buzz" from the camera running that causes the bees to attack..
