I also have clips from 6 Dec in queue. Longeest I've seen here. I imagine the holidays set things back a bit. Hoping for some queue-love today!

Hello all. Just curious, but I have 14 video clips in the cue from as early as Jan 3. I realize from reading back here that video review times can be long, and would normally just keep quiet and wait, but I noticed the ftp queued status has been as low as 8 at times in the past few days (I uploaded through Java, so not sure if that matters). Also, sorting all video clips by upload date, I see that there are non-news/editorial clips uploaded as recently as Jan 13 ready for sale. Do some contributors get priority review? Might something be wrong? Am I just being impatient? I have a message in to the curators, but have not heard a reply, and I don't want to keep bugging the staff. Pond5 has been nothing but fantastic by the way, so this is in no way a critique, just an inquiry. Thanks!

I can't help with any info regarding current lead times for review, but I can say that the FTP queue sizes being small just means that the automated "Retrieve clip from FTP Server on upload completing, create thumbnail and add to aritst's Write Info queue" is working properly, and the hundreds of clips that are uploaded every day are being handled OK.
The size of these queues determine how long it is before an uploaded clip is available for keywording.
The only time you see the FTP queue numbers increase significantly and keep going up is when there are problems and the automated pre-submission processing falls over.
Paul.

When I sort all video clips by upload date, all the first results were all uploaded in the last few days, yesterday, the day before, etc. I'm not complaining, just wondering if there is a different member status that gets priority review so maybe one can sign up for it, with the correct criteria? My submissions are approaching 2 weeks old, others are saying much longer. Which I see is not out of the ordinary in this business. But seeing so many clips submitted afterwords approved and in the search ready for sale, it does concern me that something may be wrong. Am I misunderstanding something? Again, not complaining, as Pond5 is clearly the best at what they do, I'm just curious. Thanks.
