Only benefit for P5 is to increase internet traffic. Draw more (new and old) customers to P5 site. Disadvantage will be less sale of those similar footage of the PD, and draw away some sales from our fellow artists. Bad!!
For us contributors, we can make new footage with PD footage, make new life (be creative) for it and sell in P5.

We must learn After Effects..

Let's hope PD is a very welcome alternative for those customers which pay only ~ 20$ per clip! ;)

I think it is a very useful idea for customers and will not negatively affect my sales. After all this is not normal stock that competes with our files.

It´s also really interesting footage, not sure if I will ever find a way to use it, but I think it is very valuable for educational use.

LOL thanks. Just having fun with it. I don't think anyone would need that but it was an exercise in tracking and making it look passably like it belonged in the footage.

Hey Jake have you sold that to the Animal Cracker Company yet. That's easily as good as a $250K budget.

But I did cut it up and it's selling nicely as stock.
