How is music categorized?

So on the main page of Pond5, there are some categories for music, such as action, adventure, ambient, and so on. But when you upload music, there doesn't seem to be an option to choose a category for your track. So, how do those categories work? Do the reviewers choose a category for the music? Do you sort of fit in a category or not based on your tags? Can a track fit into more than one category? Is there any way to choose?

Hi there silversmith00, it looks like clicking on each of those categories gives you the same results as typing the actual word in the search box. So I suppose they're meant as convenient shortcuts to popular search terms.
