Submitting Stereoscopic 3D footage?

Hi Folks!
I'm completely new to this board, so please be gentle! :-D
I've tried searching for 'stereoscopic' here but the search engine turns up really old threads, hence I'm posting this question.
I'm preparing several 1920x1080 3D clips, some with an alpha channel. How should I submit these?
I assume clients will want the L and R kept separate, with all geometrical and colour disparities fixed. Since ProRes4444 is the only ProRes format that supports an embedded alpha channel, I'm expecting to be using that where appropriate.
So what format is wanted? What should I be doing?
I do hope there's a thread or 'how to' that already covers this.
Cheers!
p.s. a couple of samples of my work
