How to price footage?

Hi, I'm pretty new to Pond5 and not used to setting a price for my footage. Other stock sites I use you don't get that option, they do it all for you, which I am fine with to be honest. However I see quite a few people say that $50 for a 4k clip is too cheap, but this is roughly the cost on other stock sites from what I gather?
How do you price?
Cheers!

Really? I've only sold one clip so far (very new to this), and it was for $49. If I'm not really selling much won't it make it less likely if I increase to $100-$150?

which are the other stock sites that sell 4k for 50$???
the only sites that is worth to submit those days are shutterstock adobe and pond5....shutterstock and adobe sell at hd 79$/4k 179$ and this is the industry standard...
pricing your clip too low won't help you to earn more...content is important not price if you are within the industry standard...
the pricing trends posted above doesn't mean anything....i did all my test in the past 8 years setting price even lower than suggested from pond5 but it didn't help to earn more...you can't fight on price anymore, subscription plans are out there and you can't bet them on price,so better price at industry standard and shot good and not oversaturated content..

low pricing does not sell enough to make up for fair pricing. Use SS and Adobe as a guide. $79 / $179. Low ball pricing works for an agency that has 20 million clips. As an individual, volume just won't make up for the discount, it does for the agency.

Is this still true given economic conditions?

Usually price rises up when demand is higher...as a production can't send their crew to shoot they need to buy stock...
