CUs of car engine

Just received a request for

6-7 SHOTS (VERY CLOSE ONES), OF THE INTERNAL MACHINE OF A CAR. (SHOTS THAT INCLUDE PISTONS, SPRINGS, LUBRICATED PARTS OF THE CAR MACHINE ETC).

They're looking for these shots as soon as possible; if you have a camera, a car and some time, it's worth a go.

They didn't indicate, but I think format is PAL. HD in any flavor would be even better.

I have 3 chip SD and HDV cameras + Car + Time, so if you are interested I can shoot some stuff for you tommorrow ?

I did verify that they are looking for PAL - it's for a television ad for motor oil. Here's some additional info:

ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPT, ENGINE MOVING, PISTONS MOVING, AND LUBRICATED PARTS OF THE ENGINE (THEY WILL COMPARE THE WAY THE ENGINE IS MOVING WITH THE MOVING ARM AND BACK MUSCLES OF A MAN ). VERY CLOSE SHOT AND PREFERABLY BLACK AND WHITE AT THE BACKGROUND.


No promises that they'll purchase the clips, but right now we don't have any footage of the inner workings of a car, and I'm sure there's going to be ongoing demand for that type of thing.

Sorry to take so long to get back to you, but unfortunately I have just landed a job writing some god damn awful music! and I will be tied up for a few days, I am sure there is someone out there with a car, a cam and a few hours.

I can ask my dad if he'll start the car for me. But I'm not sure if I can see any moving parts in the engine.

-Isn't it possible to post more of these requests? Because it's quite good to know what kind of stuff you need to film.
