Would value feedback as I dip my toes back in the water

Hi guys.
I worked as a videographer for about 10 years but stopped and went on to other things about 3 years ago. My video equipment, the Sony z1u and the Sony a1u( with underwater housing) take mini dv tapes and are outdated.
Now I'm thinking of buying the Sony ax700 and a small underwater video camera.( not a gopro).
I'm so rusty I would value some useful feedback on camera choices, especially when it pertains to ease of uploads on Pond5. I love river running, ocean and water level shots.
Also if you anyone feels like sharing what type of clips you are seeing trends for buying I'd be interested in that as well.
Thank you all.

I use the Sony ax700 as my main camera for stock now, I have used pool and rented lots of other cameras in the past and I am more than happy with the Sony ax700 for stock footage. The footage from this camera sells and private customers have never complained about the quality (most clients are not interested in what camera was used in production, they are more concerned with the final output) The type1" (Super16 roughly) sensor is very good and this size means very limited jello effect, even when filming in macro close up. The LCD screen is pretty bright and the view finder is very clear. The best thing about this camera is that you don't need lenses or any rigging, you can really just pick it up and go. The dynamic range is very good, two batteries will get you a days shooting. The camera is a little on the large size for a handy cam but if you are coming the ZU1 it will seem very small in that respect. The slow motion in 120p HD is very good (other slower modes are just a gimmick) and low light shooting is very good too, do not go above 800 ISO for stock footage if you can help it because 1600 and above can cause issues if you have to de-noise footage for stock. All in all a very capable all rounder cam I have used it for 18 months for stock and it will be with me for a good long time, pretty much perfect if you are used to this kind of traditional form factor. Its a shame there is no 60p/50p in 4K but Sony is pushing this sensor in a lot of their cameras and are trying to get as much money back from it as possible, so maybe the next generation Type1 sensor will have the 4K higher frame rates.
Also the Sony RX100 v7 is a very good walk around camera, very similar features to the AX700, Sony has released the ZV‑1 but it does't have a viewfinder, I'm not sure if you can get an underwater case for the RX but it could be worth looking into if you want to mix footage with the AX700, I own both the AX and RX.

Thank you so much for the great feedback. I think a water proof housing for the ax700 will be out of my price range but i am thinking about a small dedicated underwater video camera instead..( not a go pro) if anyone has any advice.
