Keywording and Checkbox keywords

Greetings once again!

A couple other things I am wondering about involve properly keywording and assignation of the clip into categories.

Some of my clips "could" be looped, such as the rainfall in sunny forest. Does this allow me to use the "seamless looping" checkbox? I have seen that some do and some don't with video. Would it help sell clips at any rate?

What are the guidelines for "Elements and effects"? I have seen some clips in that category ... sometimes it seems like a stretch, similar to "motion backgrounds".

In general, I rattle off the first 10-15 keywords that come to mind with my clip in my mind's eye. Then I cast about for other angles from which to consider it, not to exceed 25.

I do very much want to represent my clips honestly....I hate spamming as much as anyone else who has had their time wasted by it. But I don't want to sell myself short, either, so I am seeking here a few tips on maximizing the effect of the clip attribute setting.

I have heard/read several opinions regarding the checkbox keywording...It doesn't matter or help, or that it does. I would not mind hearing some reasoning behind these opinions!

I do have other questions, but for the most part I'm just looking for random pearls of wisdom besides the answers to those queries specified herein.

It is very true that I really appreciate all the help and support!

Checkbox keywords works, just remember to use them right
recently i saw few contributors using this checkboxes to spam for example:
http://www.pond5.com/stock-footage/976676/happy-man-drinking-red-wine.html
there is only one person but he checkd all people checkboxes

and if your file is not loopable do not check "seamles looping"

Perhaps the person in that clip had multiple personality disorder and was confused as to gender and age? Right.

I was looking at the looping potential of some of my clips from the point of view that my clip "rainfall in the sunny forest" is easily loopable....for instance if someone wanted to lengthen it to superimpose a healthy happy man drinking wine against it. But technically, the last frame does not mate with the first....I have just seen many other clips of similar nature labelled such.

Same with elements and effects, and abstract. Define abstract...

In the meantime I am enjoying watching my pile of clips queued for review growing. Might seem like small potatoes to all you all, but 14 with another 2 on the way, and lots of ideas and footage to go through. It is great seeing the vision and creativity of all the artists! I think this is a wonderful thing to get into (finally) and I can't wait to get out today....
