It's a slow start.

Hello, my name is Corey. I uploaded my stuff and I am contacting everybody I can think of to possibly get my first sale. It's tough though. I know if I can get it rolling, it will be easier and easier. Who else is just starting this?

I'm about a month in and only 100 clips uploaded. Not really concerned about sales at this point. Once I get up to 1,000+ clips and adjust my prices accordingly, I'll start determining if Pond5 is worth it or not. Based on what others have said on these forums, things seem to only be getting worse for sales so hope for the best but expect the worst.

Nice man, hope you get some sales. Don't worry about what others say, you are unique and have your own style and your experience will be different from others. Keep uploading, don't look back, and don't give up based on what you think is happening. If you truly enjoy the process of creating then there are no boundaries. Following others never really works out.
Good luck, I promote through YouTube but really I just keep building my content here as YouTube is just a avenue for my creative anxiety :) , and the sales are nice here just from Pond 5 alone. It takes time and numbers.

Has the low price (no matter what you have your content listed for) issue gone away here or are us contributors just tired of talking about it? Have those with recent sales just gotten used to the lower pricing forced on us by the P5/SS merger, like that's the new normal?
Or are recent sales from those who have priced their content SS-style, not pre-merger P5 style, therefore getting what they're asking and so don't have a reason to complain? You know, netting $20 is all they were hoping for anyway?
