Sort Results

Why is there a different number of results shown when selecting different "sort by:" choice.

For example on a search I just did, the resulting number of results were:
Default: 14
Date Uploaded: 11

Another example is using the keyword "Winter". Looking only at footage Date Uploaded shows 97,798 yet Default shows 98,354.

Seems on other searches there is a big difference between results shown by default and Date Uploaded. Seems like the same number should be shown just changed in a sort order. Depending oh how a buyer searches it appears many products are not shown.

Hi Don, I'm not sure if this is a proper answer to your question, it's guessing at best. I recently had several batches approved. After a day or so they were visible in the 'Default' sort result. When selecting 'date uploaded' however, they didn't start to appear until several days later. This might explain some of the different results that you get (or it might not).

I don't think its a delay problem, it's a not showing problem. This is seen in footage that has been there for a long time.
