Does anybody know where I can find what keywords buyers are looking for the most often when it comes to stock footage / what is in demand? I'd like to find out what people are looking for/ trying to buy the most, before filming a bunch of stuff they may not be interested in. And just for fun if you could convince someone to shoot something ridiculous what would it be?

Basic answer to your question is to look at "Trending Stock Video tag cloud on the front page, and also here, in Artist Resources: Search Terms
Just know that studying these too much will cause a form of madness, and you will be kinda like that donkey pulling a cart of yesterday's news while chasing a carrot on a stick.
Shoot what you can, and are interested in, and have fun doing, and feel passionate about. Challenge yourself, but don't try to copy the success of others unless that happens to be a topic you have opportunity and/or skill to excel at. This is a fun occupation - it has to be, since as many artistic pursuits it involves a lot of unpaid tie and effort, not to mention hard costs - if you just want to make money, train to be come a truck driver. In fact, become a long haul truck driver and sell clips you shoot while travelling.
Do give the buyers credit for being an incredibly diverse bunch....they will surprise you again and again. What you think are your best, most topical, useful clips will collect dust, and clips you didn't give a lot of thought to might turn out to be great money makers for you.
You fun question is just that: Fun. Not gonna give you any of my "good" ridiculous ideas, some of which are sure winners, but I like doing stuff like my "Whirled Peas" clip (never sold) Whirled Peas Clip and I have high hopes for a spoof clip called "Alaska Jigsaw Massacre" ....
Good luck!
