Link file versions

Can someone please remind me how to link multiple file versions? Such as 4k and HD versions... I can't remember the process.

Email support@pond5.com with the subject line Associations Request.
Then format the clip ids that you want linked as follows:
Item:123456:123457
Item:123459:123460
Then format the clip ids that you want linked as follows:
Item:123456:123457
Item:123459:123460

Will there ever be more "user friendly" application for such linking? I noticed some people are even making PAL/NTSC version even if they higher HD. Is this even worth the time?
I would maybe make 4K/HD1080/HD720 and that's all. The HD720 is almost the same as PAL/NTSC
