PENDING REVIEW

Pending review from 5th december 2025 till january 7th 2026. how come?

Probably due to Christmas Vacation etc.

Pond5 customer service said most of their curators are gone, depending on Shutterstock staff support for curation.

We've been informed that the current review times are:
​Photo Commercial: 10 days
Photo Editorial: 16 days
Vector: 13 days
Illustration: 12 days
Video: + 1 month

I'm thinking they all got laid off due to the recession, lack of sales and Ai, if they all suddenly quit for whatever reason they would be replaced so this tells me it's an economic/business decision.

They were fired because Shutterstock was confident that Getty employees would be curators in 2026. But that didn't happen.

Killed their own business by selling all the AI rights and data. A massive anount of Facebook and Youtube is now AI generated needing little actual purchase of photos and video. For those coming to the stock game you are at least six years too late ;(

@Wildlife_World , That makes sense and now that the merger is delayed for a bit there's no curators.
