Uploaded Videos Are Too Dark

I'm using a pair of NEC 27" monitors calibrated to REC70 with an i1Pro.

After I upload to Pond5, my clips look really dark and dingy. I've tried using D65 calibration too. Same problem.

These same clips look good on other stock footage sites and the common YouTube/Vimeo players too.

Any ideas on how to get good looking footage, after ingestion, on Pond5? Or even better, how to get clip to match the production screen?

Thanks!

In the past P5 does a fast scrub of the footage for initial thumb and preview. Later the preview will processed at a higher quality. You are right, initial impression is footage does not look as good here as most other agencies.

@RekindlePhoto thank you...

Some of our late-afternoon/early-evening clips still look muddy after a week online.

The "view full frame still" helps. Hopefully savvy buyers know to click on this.

I've found the same thing actually. I have clips that look very crushed in previews (and even some stills) but the original uploaded clip is fine. This clip for example looks horrible on the right side in the previews and only a little better in the still image.

This isn't always the case though. I find daytime stuff looks as good as the original.
