Pond5 Mobile site on iPhone

I just spent most of the day in a hospital while my mother was getting an coronary angiogram before open heart surgery for valve replacement and some bypasses on Monday. So I decided to use my Samsung Galaxy III to see whats happening at P5. ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE and FRUSTRATING trying to navigate anywhere. For those using smartphones and tablets or probably touch screen, forget it. Wonder how many buyers we've lost that will cost a lot to get them back. If I was a buyer today, it would have been my last look.

Pond5 needs to do something about it...wish your mom all the best..

Maybe instead of creating web page for mobile devices better solution will be creating android, iphone, windows phone app
So just when you visit pond5 on mobile devices you`ll see normal page but with info that pond5 app is available for download and instal on your device.

I use an ipad and it is functional 90% of the time! but it does add clips to bins without wanting that and drop down menus work sometime and then other times it doesn't, I would not trust the site on an iPad to buy clips.

Not so much for video, but I have used a couple of mobile apps for buying images for web projects that I was working on with my iPad.

And Normstock is correct, iPad support for Pond5.com sucks ass. It just seems like Pond5 let their developer(s) go cause nothing is going on featurewise here. :(

I emailed P5 ages (maybe years) ago about this - twice I've been out and about with clients and have tried to show them the Pond5 site on tablets - one iOS and one Android - when discussing their need for SFX and music; and both times it was an embarrassing nightmare and I know for a fact they never used P5 to find these even though I introduced the site as their first port of call. Personally I've found it better on Android, on iOS it doesn't even scroll properly and it irks as a seller that the dashboard charts have never displayed at all, goodness knows what else doesn't, I can't be bothered to look it's so clunky. As for the constant bin adds!! Ooooh, don't get me started.....
