When uploading 4K video should I upload 1920x1080 also?

No need. P5 do it automatically, you need to set your price only.

What about when it comes to (PNG animation) for animations with transparency, Does this automatic conversion keep alpha channel? I know that codec changes from PNG to h264 along with conversion. Currently I upload both resolutions, but maybe it is just a waste of time. However, pond5 still accept my both resolution uploads, so assume that transparency is lost during conversion.

For renders with an alpha channel, sometimes I put in my description, "Transparency may only be available with the highest resolution file."

That covers me, plus gives the buyer an incentive to purchase the highest resolution version.

I go that way at SS, but here, I also upload 720p and 360p. Anyway, I go with $29-$59 for 360p version of animation whenever there is alpha channel embedded in it (this way I be happy even when I sell only 360p). Maybe I will do same as you if I get more 4k sales. For now, I don't want to force buyer to make choose between higher resolution with alpha and lower without it. Sometimes it is easy to isolated black background and the buyer will choose cheaper version anyway, however, quality won't be as good as with those with alpha channel. I just don't want to waste pond5's space-bandwidth when I don't have to, And this is why I want to know if transparency stay along conversion.
