In case it's of interest to anyone in UK - I've just bought from Amazon a couple of 5TB seagate expansion hard drives for £119.99 each which I think is not bad for over here.
I've been using the 3 and 4TB for a while and not had any problems - as yet of course.

Sadly, my old Drobo only supports up to 4TB drives. Need to get a new Drobo...
