What sales to expect with a portfolio of 2500 video clips?

Hi everyone,

I would like to know your experiences and how are you doing on sales. How big is your portfolio and how many sales do you get a month aprox?
I'm trying to see how many sales could a portfolio of 2500 clips have a month.

Also, for people on the site for less than one year, when should the sales start to increase? Does it have any relation to the amount of time your are on the site? (Being longer on the site gets you eventually more sales with the same clips, etc)

I have 1,551 and I get 400 per month. My best was over 1,000

TMB I know one guy that has 10,000+ clips and hardly any sales and members with less than 1,000 with hundreds in sales. so it all depends if you have what buyers want.

It's all about the value of the clip. I'll trade the top ten best sellers for all my clips without a moments thought.

Wow sounds great... I barely make 3 sales a month with 2500 clips :-(

That seems a bit low for your portfolio, regardless.
Unless you uploaded all these clips in a very short time very recently.

I have been on pond5 for almost a year.. and uploaded most of my better footage something like 4 months ago.
Am I doing maybe something wrong with titles or tags?
