Hey folks, I was referred to Pond5 by a user on another forum, and I just signed up and am waiting ID verification. Looking forward to contributing here.

I've been browsing the various threads and I'm curious if I will have issues with songs being accepted due to being a member of BMI. Has anyone had issues with rejection due to PRO membership? Or have you had issues if your songs are on iTunes and other digital distribution networks?

you're not gonna be rejected because of that, but some clients might not buy your stuff because of that.

Good to know, thanks. I do tend to keep the two separate though, I have music that I release as an artist on iTunes, then I have the music I produce that is strictly "production music".

You can definitely upload as a member of a royalty society. I'm not sure how much it affects buyers, but I'm a member of BMI and license 10+ songs on Pond 5 every month.
