Newby needs HELP

Hi there,
Just recently started using Ae and have edited titles from Premium Beat ect. However I downloaded a title template and cant figure out what I am doing wrong?
Can someone point me in the right direction as to a video Tutorial to watch so I can learn as I can't find any.

Thinking it would help if I explained that I can't work out how to edit the text?

I've had trouble with this too ... one method is simply double clicking the main header of the text layer ... make sure your Character window is open .. then you can also change font, etc.

(Before, I deleted it and started over to make changes ... which is to say "most inefficient".)
