logo question

I have heard different things about showing logos in a clip... As I understand it as long as a logo is not the main subject it is OK to show it... (That is if it is in the background) Is this true?

I have some aerials of las vegas, and the logos are visible, but are hard to read. In this one: https://www.pond5.com/ko/stock-footage/115959
You can see the "trump" name on the building.
Should I blur the name out?

Thanks

Is this clip yours? It almost looks like abn older public domain. If it is yours well done, aerials like this should sell. From what I know, as long as the logo isn't distinclty copyrighted and is not the main subject you should be ok. Many tv shows now blur everything that has a logo on it. Probably because they didn;t sponsor and pay for staging the product. Good luck.

Thanks for the response! ... and yes it is mine, those casinos are all new. I used a filter and I messed with the colors a little in post. Im going to try to upload different looks from the same flight just for the sake of creating variety. lol I was in Vegas just a few days after pond5 was at the NAB show!
