(20)Recorded in Chongqing, a municipality roughly the size of Austria this region is home to the most infamous and spicy hotpot in China. The city of Chongqing boasts a population of over 30 million and is subsequently filled with a wide array of bustling and distinctive sounds. Featuring recordings of the urbanized city center, multiple restaurant ambiances, suburban alleys and streets, and Chinese crowds + conversations. Includes 23 audio tracks all recorded at 24bit / 96 kHz with UCS metadata. A passion project by producer and sound designer Warren Rousseau in his effort to capture the unique sounds and landscapes throughout his time living in China.
