Still pending review...

First post here. Has anyone noticed a recent abnormal delay in the review of clips? Some of my footage has been "Pending Review" since I uploaded it in October 24th.
Does pond5 have a priority to review clips with certain keywords quicker? For example certain types of clips that tend to sell more, are they reviewed quicker?

There's no priority. It as just been a little slow lately. Normally clips are reviewed within 7 - 10 days.

Hello
Thanks for everyone's patience. There are a larger than normal amount of clips in the queue and where there used to be a 7-10 day lag in the past, it is a bit longer at the moment. Please be assured that we are working as quickly as possible to make sure each clip is curated according to Pond5's standards and it should ease up in the coming days.

The review used to be 1-3 days or less, is 7-10 days going to be the new standard after catching up?

I have some clips from Oct 12th still pending review. Exactly ONE MONTH.
But, on a good note, sales are up this month, thankfully.

I don't know if this is relevant to the slow down. I looked at the number of contributors P5 had when another stock site lowered the pay scale and it appears to be about 300 more today. Maybe this is natural growth, maybe not. GM

Yeah. that's why I'm laying off complaining... I see the number of contributors rising on several sites and review times going ballistic.
One thing I can suggest is this... If you have uploaded something which is time sensitive (you have an editorial clip of something recent and popular), email the clip ID to the curators and they'll get it moved up the review process. I did that a couple of times earlier in the year and got a few clips reviewed in a day that were about current events.
Other than that... just be patient.
