Adobe CC vs CS6

For those who have moved from Premiere Pro CS 6 to CC what improvements have you seen? Is there really enough to make the move worth the expense. So far CS6 has been doing a fine job for me since it was released, but if there is a performance enhancement worth the time then I'll bite the bullet.

Not really interested in hearing about upgrading from CS5 or below to CC. The change from CS5 to CS6 was a major step.

That's a good question. I never used CS6 and just signed onto the CC program. I know that you can find videos on the Adobe site that tell you about the upgrades. There are some cosmetic upgrades, there are built it effects that take care of GoPro video that you want the distortion removed from. Just enter the model and mode you shoot at. Another very nice feature is being able to apply effects onto a file in the Project pane and have that effect stick to all bits and cuts of that clip throughput the timeline. You can do a master color grading this way after the timeline is constructed.
For stock, I usually have long running clips that need to be cut and trimmed.
Whether it's worth the monthly charges. Hmmm. Not sure about that. I only went with CC because I also needed Lightroom and PS. You get the whole suite of options. SO you can spend your time learning Illustrator and Speed Grade and every other esoteric program Adobe has. Could be a minus.

Embrace the cloud...... Be the cloud.......

For me it was a no brainer, There are a lot of enhancements to CC but is it worth it to move there? That is only for you to decide in your workflow.

I moved there because now I have access to everything Adobe puts out which before I would have never bought some of the software they have on the off chance I may use it.
Now I can download it and learn it.
Also you have access to millions of fonts, something I never thought of until I am making a title for a project and don't want to look like anyone else with standard Windows fonts.

Plus for a business the software is a tax write off. So why not?

I was about to purchase After Effects right around the time CC came out so for me it was an easy decision. I do like the fact I know all my tools are up to date. I like that I can download just about anything they make if I need it. Have a lot of things changed? Not really. I was somewhat annoyed at not having the option to purchase software anymore but now that I've subscribed I like it.

One sale a month to pay for such a robust program is very attractive.

Same here, having CC right out of the box and up date means is warm fuzzy feeling, some changes did hurt.

As improvements go, PP and AE support for more Cuda-Core cards (including ours) helped, especially in AE workflows. PP a couple of things took getting use to, the middle scroll to reveal wave patterns on audio, the thumb nail and bin structure is also much nicer in our work flows, especially editing with multiple cameras.

Photoshop the magic patch tool is astonishingly good too.

In short a few subtle changes throughout all the major products combine to help the workflow, but, read the updates, because you can update during a project and get knocked side-wards for a second because something was moved/changed/replaced.

The mercury engine is extremely more efficient too.
