Why multiple copies of footage showing up?

Ok for a couple days when uploading a single clip it shows up many times un unedited page. Some a couple times and some four times and more. So are they all true duplicates? Do we delete the extra ones? Leaves them alone and see what happens? Do we add data to any one of them?

Little help on what to expect. Sure makes us wonder why when things are working changes are made to break what was not broke.

Same thing for me. I thought it was my FTP. I guess not.

I deleted all the duplicates.

I hope we are deleting the right ones and not leaving ones with only partial data?

They all seem to play correctly.

I've had that happen when FTP is interrupted, usually on my end like if I lose connection or do a reboot and stop the FTP and then resume it....everything shows up in duplicate, not idea why and this also happens at the other two sites.

It's just the tech equivalent to the mystery of how they get the caramel in the caramilk bar that's all.

To be safe, I deleted them all and re-uploaded, in case only one was the full clip.

Uploaded a bunch last night and today. Many of the clips were duplicated up to 6 times each. Really? Things were working good on the Artists side before the change. It costs a lot of time for both us and P5 with all these duplicates and trying to figure them out.

When do we expect this BIG problem fixed? I'm trying to delete them but would much rather spend time shooting and keywording.

I cant seem to get any full clips uploaded, just tons of partials, I have been trying for 2 weeks now with only a few clips getting through. Other websites seem to work fine.

I hope I'm deleting the bad ones and the ones that remain are full uncorrupt files. No word from P5. ??

Unfortunately both the frontend and the backend seem to suffer from several bugs (some have been there for years without a fix)...

23.976 (23.98) clips still don't show correctly and they cannot be found in search ticking the boxes. They show up as 23.97 and become invisible if you check either the 23.98 or the 24 box...

And the very old bug that makes only the 4k price visible in search. If a 4k file is priced at $199 and the HD version at $99, the only way to find it is by searching for $199+ clips. If you want to limit the prices to $100 the $99 HD version still won't show up and becomes invisible...

This is all a bit annoying and prevents me from uploading right now.

On top of that the site often gets very buggy in Safari with menu systems shutting down and more, but usually works well in Chrome.
