3D Animations TOO realistic?

Hm, I have been worried about this exact situation myself - what do you do when the 3D animation look just realistic.
I haven't uploaded yet, but I was thinking maybe starting the sequence with a one second still of the wireframe and fade in to the rendered animation. This should make it clear to the reviewer but it also creates additional editing work for the client, who pays, so I'm not sure if it's really such a good idea.
A 3D still I uploaded ended up in a non-photo category (the name escapes me).
Or if Pond5 reads this: how about adding a checkbox to indicate the sequence is "synthetic" to skip model release requirements?
