Curator Training

Re-tagged all, re-uploaded all, all rejected. 100% rejection for the month of June, entire month of work and fuel/vehicle expenses wasted.

I really don't know why they don't come out and say it.....that they are not accepting new files.

At least they've stopped with the curator comments, no comments added, just rejected.

I guess going forward the only places to upload new stuff to are vb/ss but here they seem to be full up and not taking any more and I was told that this also applies to the 4K library as well so no point upgrading the camera.

Now on to correcting the titles and keywords on thousands of files that I do have on the system so they have a better chance of selling.....that's the next project.

We have never been told what happens when we update data on a clip. If we change price or update the description and keywords does that do anything to it priority or algorithm results? A lot of clips need an update but if it screws up possible results then it's hard to make improvements.

P5 can you give an answer on this question? We all want to make improvements but are kinda scared to do so.

Well, my last batch was 7 out of 9 HD clips rejected. I'm usually 90-100% accepted. There was no usual email -- I just logged in and found them rejected. It's been several days. I might be OK with it if I knew why. How do I improve? Unless I know, then I'm sure not going to waste my time filming, editing, uploading, and keywording (hint to P5: this takes a LOT of time). There should be a high level of respect and communication between artist and dealer. I'm just not seeing it now.

I choose to sit out until the comments start showing up that all is well, or at least the expectations and feedback are clear.
