Yep, doesn't look very good. The guy that filmed the video states that it is 1080p RAW (4:2:2 200 MBPS).
Any way now the say that the GH4 will available in April. Then we will see the "critiques".

A comment of this videographer was that 4k requires lenses of great quality equivalent or better than Canon's L series. He also stated that GH4 files are easily edited in Premier.

This may mean that Panasonic must start making betters more expensive lenses.

B&H have GH4 for preorder at $1699.99, it will be 4.2.0 in camera and 4.2.2 8 bit and 10 bit with HDMI out to an external recorder.

@Normstock = For $1700, even if the 4k is not superb, in FHD it will be awesome. A GH3 on steroids. I'm going to buy that thing.
Normstock 10 Mar 2014 18:43
@LUXORPYRAMID, I agree I'm going to take a close look at it, maybe the most cost effective way to get into 4K real time!

I don't understand why camera producers pretend 4K needs better lenses than even Canon L??? Canon L are used with cameras that are 21 megapixels, which is far more than 4K res.
cinecameratv 10 Mar 2014 23:58
The interface is more expensive than the camera itself: $2,000 USD Ouch !!!

Getting pretty close to the $4K or so for the FS70o/7Q deal, eh?

Are "4K Ready" lenses like "HD ready" or "Optimized for Digital Content" audio cassettes? If so, I call BS! 4K is "beginning" to approach DSLR quality. Ionescu has a point.
Mizamook 11 Mar 2014 02:03
Just to clarify my last remark, "4K is "beginning" to approach DSLR quality" I mean from the viewer "normal use" perspective, not a technical, pixel-peeping sort of thing. I hope you know what I mean.
