I guess P5 has heard all they want from me. I posted a response to sebolla74 and it never showed up. I don't have the time or patience to rewrite the whole thing but in a nutshell it seems that they are tailoring the search results based on who is searching. Search on my primary machine and, waalaa, no cap. I search on a different machine or my phone and...yep the $80 cap is back.

During the last year we had all sorts of experiments all meant to bring more customers, more sales, more money. The sales kept going down until they crushed on soil and do not seem to ever recover. It looks like someone is gambling or playing Russian roulette with Pond5, it looks like serious buyers were lost for whatever reason. Contributors are sick and tired of experiments - we want sales. I wonder if sales will ever be back on Pond5.

It seems they finally did change to 500+. Although You have to clean your cookies from browsing history data to be able to see changes and refresh Pond5 site, and that pop-up window letting buyers know about price slider will come up too, but only after cookies are cleaned, if you return later to site again it won't show that message again, you will have to clean site cookies every time. I just hope that buyers clean their browsing history regularly.

The only people I’ve seen that clear browsing history or cookies are people that want to hide where they are going. Most people don’t know what any of that means.

I just checked from a fresh install: it is still there at 80USD.

I guess matthef hasn't a clue as to what is happening here. I agree with ionescu the slider is still at 80 even after clearing the cookies.

Oh and don't ask Greg for an answer as he's gone until the 22nd.

I guess that will be the new norm, just like the 25% discounts to anyone.
Also killing 4k that is priced over $80 or any exclusive that thought you could price over $80

It's almost that now with the steep discounts to anyone that shows up at the door.
