They should have given them out to a few pros to test before launching, to test and work out more of the bugs.
I was on set with one in August, the crew using it seemed to be impressed more with the fact it costs so much and no one else really had one at the time (like a kid in line at the Apple Store),caught my eye for sure.
I agree, +1 for Bloom, nice to have someone watching out for the guys in the trenches.

Bloom does have a lot of love for Canon tho. Keep that in mind.
