Pond5 Sale Notification Email Times

Hi guys & girls,

Just a quick question, do any of you know if you get an email once an item has sold right away or if there is a set time that all emails go out and sales are updated? The reason I ask is that I have noticed that I am getting emails and updates at odd times - unless everyone who is buying my items are based in the US.

Normally I will get an email at around 3am GMT, but I have noticed that I am getting emails in at 10pm GMT also saying about an update in sales. Ive never had one say from 5am - 8pm GMT before, nothing major but thought I'd ask! :)

normally they send emails out at the same time every day, within a period of 2 to 4 minutes.

if you are getting emails at other times of the day, it is because they are processing orders off their schedule.

The emails (typically) reflect sales from 72 hours ago. This window of time allows for "chargebacks" of people that have bought a clip and are unhappy with it. Otherwise, you would get a SALE and then they would have to DEDUCT that sale. The 72 hour window allows for most of these, so the seller never notices.
