xdvb codec

I can't open a HD file with .mov in either quick time or vlc player or adobe premier. The vlc player shows the message " can't run file with xdvb codec.

Please help.

Which clip?

We've gone ahead and converted the clip and sent him a download link, so this should be resolved. It was in the HDV format, which isn't supported on all systems.
