Not exactly a review. A new camera has no surprise at all, except longer zoom. Sony want to make competition with Panasonic FZ1000. I am sure when FZ2000 come out, it will be better than this. IMO

And FZ1000 cost around $600, much cheaper!

Considering that this offers S-Log2 (iso800) it should perform pretty well in darker scenes provided you have the adobe camera data installed on your adobe products. It's not quite raw, but for the price (even the lower model RX10 II) it is actually a very powerful feature. Great for color correction (if one wishes to do grading as a final step).
