Canon rumors

Don't forget the 1.3x crop factor when recording 4K on 1Dxmk2.

Yup, over looked that one.

I still can't get past $6k for a DSLR no matter what the specs.
I may get one next year when Canon reduces it to $3K :)

LOL ... if Nikon drops their prices I'm sure Canon will follow. The 1Dx have always been up at that price so no real increase. The old 1Dx are still selling for $4,600 even after the announcement. Nikon is already $500 more for a far less camera. I think we will still see a 5D MK IV, the rumors is it might not have 4K, I think it will. The standard for the 5D models is $3,500. If so I'll probably get one as a backup smaller fair weather camera. NAB this year should be interesting on new cameras.

Don't know if it April Fools or not. Based on this article there is no advantage for the 1Dx MK II.
