"Top Sellers" of the month and "Artist Reports", what's the relation?

Can someone explain me what's the relation between the "Top Sellers of the Month" emails we receive from Pond5 and the "Artist Reports" sales and downloads we find in the link page on the bottom of the site? Well, I can't see any relation, I'm sorry... what's wrong here? My lack of intelligence, understanding or something obscure that is related to "Only Pond5 Knows, 'cause it's commerce"?
