At NAB they were not really offering any discounts. I asked about the GoPro and rolling shutter / jello. They said it is a real problem on the Phantom. Their high end flyin machines were insulated a lot better for vibration. I was really interested but talking to them at NAB I stepped back a little.

I will not buy go pros anymore when instead I can get new cams that use global shutters. I have my eye on some nice ones. Stay tuned for more info.

Good thing about GoPro is they water proof and almost indestructible. I only drowned two last year and blew one up with an explosive ;)

As soon as I have final scoop and delivery dates I will most likely be marketing them. But until we have things finalized I don't want to jinx it. I can tell you that they are full waterproof without an additional case. Far superior design to the go pro as well

One thing to remember about these quadcopters is its against FAA rules to fly them in populated areas commercially.

I didn't know that until I saw a story about a company using these for realty shots that was shut down by the FAA.
If you live where Don does, there is no problem unless you're a cow.

It's suppose to legal by next year. I supposed you need a license and insurance pius you must stay away from air traffic areas and they will limit the altitude you can fly them. If I buy one, I will stay away from populated areas any way. Film some mangrove forest from above, coral reef, rain forest. hidden water falls, etc. No cows.
