New Stock Footage How-To Book

Are you a seasoned member or brand new to the pond5 community? Maybe you’re a guest in which case “Welcome Aboard!” This is a great place for stock media consumers, artists, producers and contributors. You obviously have a passion or need for stock media content whether it is photos, videos, illustrations, music, sound effects, or templates.

You may be here in search of answers to questions or to solve a particular problem. You, or someone you know may even be curious or inspired to start creating content to sell on Pond5 (and other microstock sites). Doing so will allow you to start creating a passive residual income of your own. Maybe you have dreams of starting your own stock footage business, working for yourself and finally being able to quit your boring day job! How do you get started?

It just so happens I have put together a book that describes the whole process. It’s called "Make Money Online with Your Videos. It’s available at Amazon in both Kindle and Paperback. You can find it here http://tinyurl.com/mnyuatj

Heck, it may make a great Christmas gift if you’re looking for something unique this Holiday season. It could also be a perfect companion to a new camera or other video gear.

I hope you find the book beneficial and inspiring. I welcome comments, suggestions and feedback of any kind.

Best regards,
Jeff

It's a great book and very well put together. This book really does cover the entire process from camera selection, software, subject matter, techniques, how and where to sell. Well done Jeff!

Awesome to see the book is out Jeff! Great timing mentioning it now with Christmas on the way, too. Matter of fact, I think I know someone what could use it!

(Sure wish I had it when I was getting going, and I happen to know first-hand I got "ideas" when reading it!)

Gene, many thanks to you as well and I'm glad you got something from it. It's nice to be at a point where it can be shared with others too.

Hi Jeff, got your book from Amazon, read it through from book cover to cover, over Christmas, and picked up some really useful tips. This is a great book that concisely unveils some of the mysteries behind the industry that would be really handy to someone new to the business, I found the areas on developing keywording provided me with some useful insight and suggestions. The nice thing about it is, that it welcomes people into the industry, with progressive steps on how to develop their knowledge and understanding, both technically and aesthetically. Many thanks, Bill

I'm new to stock footage. I've been doing stock photography for a couple of years and just decided to try out more footage after seeing how well some of my typhoon chasing video clips sold. I was about to buy Stock Footage Millionaire a few days ago but held off due to the many negative reviews I saw. I bought your book instead last night. So far I'm finding it a great read. I'll be sure to leave a review on Amazon when I'm done.

Hey Kenny,
Congratulations on your typhoon footage sales! Your footage looks very nice. I was impressed by how steady those typhoon shots are. Many thanks for purchasing the book and Amazon reviews are always helpful. I'm glad you're enjoying it so far. Happy shooting!
