Settings look ok. What is the problem you are experiencing? Have you tried re-importing the converted clip into Premiere, rendering onto the timeline, and playing back to compare quality with the original?

Also, how was the footage filmed - 30p, 24p, or 60i?

If you are uploading and getting an error message on upload, https://www.pond5.com/pt/index.php?page=contact_us before you delete it so we can take a look.

Thanks.

Don't do File ... Export ... Movie.

Try File .. Export ... Adobe Media Encoder.
Then make sure the options are setup like we've talked.

curator, I did do that.... I sent you guys a message a few days ago. There are about 4 clips in my uploads that say unable to process. If you could look at them and find out what is wrong :-). You can respond to me directly or here, so others can learn from my errors.

Phantom, I will try your method next :-). Thanks everyone.
EDIT: Phantom, I looked into doing that, and what Audio Options should I use? Everything else seemed the same options as doing it with the export->movie

just leave the default audio option

I'm not sure but if clips were taken in 1440 x1080 shouldn't they be exported in the same format and not in 1920x1080. Here's another point if the footage were taken 1440 was it done in the LP mode which is a DV only mode.

Here's the secifications for the HV-30:
HD/DV (16:9) mode: Approx 2.07 Megapixels (1920 x 1080)
DV (4:3) mode: Approx 2.76 Megapixels (1440 x 1080)

Most HD is captured in 1440x1080, this is at least true in the Canon line of HV20/30 and XH-A1. The processing takes it and produces a 1.333 ratio to full 1920x1080.

Same here with my Sony FX-1, captures at 1440X1080

HEHE, none of these answers help! :-)

Curator, where are ya?

The video imports at 1440, then you change the pixels to square 1920x1080. That is what I was told to do at another site *ss*, so it shows up in the demo screen properly and doesn't squeeze it.

It can't be this hard. hahahah.

dapoopta , square pixels are used for computers not for video weather it's NTSC or PAL.
