Lower than 50 percent???

Price is 69, but my 50% is 25!!! Do you have such very big gaps on your sales? And do you have these cuts frequently?

It happens. P5 is experimenting with different pricing methods. That, or it was a bought by a high-volume customer who negotiated with P5.

it seems here there are a lot of people in love with p5:) i just asked other people if they also have this big cuts, Come on jason and my... goldie friend, 25/69 is like 36%. You shouldnt say : Here is your 50%

@ieox83 I've had my share of lowball sales as have many others here have had. I had one sale around 25% which I attribute that sale to a Pond5 affiliate. All the rest have been in the 10 - 15% range. But unlike some, I was fully aware that there would be some sale that would fall into that category at some point. I have also had several extended licenses as well so I haven't any complaints.

By the way, did you take the time to read the agreement??

I think as long as we are given real 50% of what P5 sells the clips for it's for the best. Remember that discounts are to promote sales and if it wasn't in their (and our) interest to sell as much as possible they wouldn't be doing it. 36% is better than nothing. Certainly it's better than $1.5 sales over on SS where the buyers can download 4k versions for this crazy price because of a bug. I didn't have any yet and I'm on a watch out for those on SS, so far I had only one sale on SS which was a regular price and one here that was extended license, so in essence here I got 100% of the clip price. Pretty good imo.

i am not in Global Partner Program, or Limited License Program. i dont want them cut more than 50, but it is always happening.
Rasomaso, it is not about SS, its about trust. And jason, i am not into their agreement, i am saying what i dont like. They are offering 50, but "mostly" it is not.

@leox83 Sorry but you have no choice. Pond5 has the option to lower the price of anyone clips by 10-15% and you agreed to that when signed the contributor's agreement. Here is a link to that agreement: https://www.pond5.com/legal/contributor Read section 3 compensation.
