The producer for "House" announced on his blog that once the contract extension for two more seasons is signed, he'll be order up to 5 C800's and next season they'll be used exclusively. Supposedly 3 will be ordered with the PL mount and 2 with the EOS mount.

The show "NUMB3RS" used 5D's for all of the extremely close-up shots last season and several scenes where things where too tight to use the RED they normally shoot with.

If you're a fan of "Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations" on the Travel channel, that show is shot entirely with 5D's. So is "An Idiot Abroad" on the National Geographic Channel.

Well, it appears that House is over... Hugh Laurie decided he was finished and doesn't want to do any more after Season 8.

Will the T4i have a 24mp sensor? Are these rumors real? Is this sensor bigger in physical size than the current 18mp sensor? Are they improving the video capabilities?

There was no announcement. :( It's still expected over the weekend.

The new Sony Alpha has the same APS-C sensor and is 24MP, so I doubt there's a physical change in the sensor itself. And everything is just a rumor right now.

However, the "rumor" is same video capabilities (1080p/30/25, 720p/60/50/30/25), but much improved sound management, same ISO range as the 60D and better light sensitivity for less noise because of the faster processor (a single Digic 5).

Nada, nothing was announced. Quite disappointing as I'd like to upgrade my T2i by mid-march.
