Mark,

I have a wide selection of aircraft clips, is a WWII Lancaster bomber with four Rolls Royce Merlin V12s okay? 1580HP each for 6300+ horsepower. Good sound, at idle, rev up, taxi, takeoff, flyby. With very little crowd sound in most cases. Keyword search "Lancaster" in my portfolio.

Also have F15 Strike Eagles, F16 Falcon, F18 Hornets, idle, taxi, takeoff and flyby with afterburner. Clean sound, no people. 1920s era Fokker Super Universal with a radial 420 hp Pratt & Whitney 'Wasp' engine, lovely sound! Lots of other aircraft besides these ones...

Hope this helps
Francois

lol Chuck that would be good but cant take unreleased stuff.

Cool those may work Francois, there will be music playing over it.
What I had in mind was looped engine sounds like what you get when you
download airlplanes for flight sims (I used to play a lot of flight sims)
although I guess it doesnt matter.

Maybe I should elaborate on what it is Im doing. The engine sounds would be altered to make space ship engine sounds. In space battles or space scenes kind of like what I did here (but with better UVW mapping)

Im "directing" a computer animated comedy feature film about robots (and people) in space etc.I hate to compare it to walle because its not really like walle at all - but its just easy to describe it as walle on crack and not for kids. 25%+ of it is done and I started in Feb. So far my test audencies seem to be laughing out loud at most parts, a few parts need to be redone- and it mixes in live action in a way that seems to work (walle did it too.)So far people say it is very stylized looking, someone said it reminded them of MST3k. ???
I guess because of the live action and the robots, and its a little cheap.

Some of my work flow is based on the "clone wars" show, and some of it is based on pixars workflow for the first toy story (which was lower budget.)

I have been offered a small amount of funding but I don't know if I want to take it, because I think I have enough money/resources. However Im going to wait a few months before I buy most things to gauge how much I will spend or whatever. However I still want to outsource things like the music just
so I get it done as quickly as possible. BTW I Also already found "quentin tarintino" style music.

If you click my account, you'll see a lot of planes with the engine sounds.
Also 'oxpecker on a zebra' might be one.

The way the camera moves for your space battle reminds me of Babylon 5.

cool thanks for the posts.

I never saw Babylon 5 actually....

BTW I'm logging into pond5 very infrequently now ... I guess like every 2 weeks or something. So I may take a while to get back to site mails.
