Well I'll be.........
Not even a week has gone by since the price change and already i've sold two videos at the new price.
Guess I should stop undervaluing my work in future.
Thanks for the advice guys. Hope the sales keep coming.

Good luck, Antony!
I've also sold only 1 item during more than half a year, but I won't give up and will be adding more :)

You make a smile on my face with your first words. :) It is working, isnt it? Good clips and proper price. Perhaps make even more clips. A suggestion. And, yes - price selection can be a hard point. I have had good suggestions from members here. Also put baragin prices first.
I am glad you found fine price. Wish you many more sales - and more clips! :)

Thanks mate! I plan to do more clips and even bought a second hand phantom 2 but it turns out the damn thing is faulty. Hope to get a drone of some sorts in the coming year as I see that the way forward for video. Thanks everyone for the help and advice.

:D

When I purchase clips I sometimes filter out the lower prices with the expectation of: Higher price = higher quality
wideweb 24 May 2017 13:22
So, just playing the Devil's advocate...
If Higher price = higher quality
Why do we price our clips $199 instead of $201?
MostlyPixel 24 May 2017 13:30
I assume it's because $199 looks significantly cheaper than $201, even though it's only $2 more. It's an old psychological technique I believe.

Saying that, I only expect higher quality with the higher prices, but obviously that's not always the case; I might find some real gems at low prices. My point being, if you price your good items too low, they might be missed if buyers have a 'higher quality = higher price' mindset. If that makes sense.

To someone new to video like me it's hard to know what to price.
Pricing too low obviously wasn't working for me.
Are my videos good enough to charge $199? I don't know. I doubt it.
All I know is I got an immediate hit when I changed all prices to $89.
Is that still too low?

Hi! How are your sales? ;)
I think, modestly, that changing prices up and down and up and down is bad. Set it, forget it. Otherwise customers will wait for a lower price. My thoughts and observations, since I've change prices quite a lot. Personally I thing you could go with 199$, but for result nobody can guarantee you. Perhaps make some clips on 89$ other little up and some little down. Or try with all on same price as you have now.
Good luck! ;)
