Never thought I'd use the sensor crop movie mode on the Canon 550D until I was shooting this seismograph and wanted to get really close on that needle (something my lenses limited me on). For everyone's info this is the infamous 50mm F/1.8.

From my new pending clips this is the one that I really like: It's a pity that there is some quality loss in the FLV preview clip.

@Mikesafilmer. Liked the Seismograph clip. It should make some sales with all these earthquakes that are occuring.
@Greyscale What I see most on the TV news from Pakistan are clips related conflicts with the Taliban, locations where Pakistan keeps nuclear weapons or the never ending conflicts with India. What I see more in archeological documentaries are very old foottage of Mohenjo-Daro and the Indus Valley ruins; one of the birthplace of civilization. For people who believe in myth and legends; the place where the first nuclear explotion occured. For some the true source of the legend of Sodoma and Gomorra. The Quaid-e-Azam Tomb is always shown from almost a mile away. Is this place so sacred that video cameras are not allowed close-by? There are pictures, but no video.

Giving security to the Eagle were a patrol ship on the background on the left side, 3 smaller all weather fast rescue boats, the 24 footer you see here in the foreground and a Coast Guard petty officer in a jetski. Prior to that, a bomb squad inspected Pier 1. During this clip I had a local security officer in my back. The shot that I could not take because I was taken by the security officers was the one of the ship entering the mouth of the harbor with the Spanish fort El Morro on the right side. That would have been the best shot of all.

Damn.. u know ur Pakistani History!! Yes, you're right, unfortunately on Western Media you primarily see what is wrong with the country and very little about what is good about it (in present terms at least, Moenjodaro and Indus Valley notwithstanding). Actually to be honest some of your earlier messages to me got me thinking that the clips I have been posting have not helped in improving a positive image of my country, but unfortunately it's this negative image of Pakistan that sells.. I am now going to try and balance my clips to show some of the good sides as well!
To be honest there is a lot of good here both in terms of people, places, history and natural resources. For example we have a free and independent media (far freer and open than a lot of western media channels), a free and independent judiciary, some of the worlds largest and most beautiful mountains, rivers, oceans, deserts as well as the remains of the worlds earliest known civilization (the aforementioned Moenjodaro) who actually had toilets with a functioning drainage system while the rest of the entire world had yet to reach the dark ages!
As for the Quaids Mazar (tomb) there are no restrictions that i know of, in fact I think I'm gonna plan a shoot there just to show you it's details.. Lets see if anyone dares stop me!!

Not really one of my best, but this is me giving a conference at an university about Moenjodaro and Harappa where Chess was invented, toilets, running water, swimming pools, home of the Unicorn, and the land of the god Triune; 3,000+ years ago.
