Candombe is an Uruguayan music and dance that comes from African slaves, recognised by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage of humanity. It is played all year round on the streets of Montevideo by as many as 40 Candombe drummers at the same time. Two main styles of playing Candombe exist, they are called "Ansina" and "Cuareim" in honour of the streets from where each style emerged in the first place.
This is Candombe played in the style of "Cuareim" at 90 bpm.
