Bees in the Meadow
(3)In a sweeping meadow on a mountainside in the Blue Ridge Mountains, golden flowers sway in the gentle breeze. Honey bees fly from blossom to blossom collecting nectar and pollen for their colonies/hives. The yellow flowers are Yellow Crownbeard (verbesina occidentalis) which look very similar to the also native wingstem (verbesina alternifolia).
